This tranquil scene is of the Redfield family ranch. Randy Redfield (brother of the owner) is a very talented local artist. I painted this in a style with thicker paint, having been influenced by my friend and superb painter, Toni Williams.

This nocturne is of our cabin at the Minam River Lodge. To get to this lodge and its cabins you either hike in, ride in or fly in. The original lodge was built in the 1950's adjacent to Red's Horse Ranch. Red's is no longer available (I stayed there years ago...during hunting season...my girlfriends and I were a novelty, being female). The Minam Lodge has been updated and is the most tranquil and sublime place to get away from everything...no wifi...no world news....no worries.
